MY STORY: I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in printmaking and drawing and several years of post graduate work in metalsmithing. For over 25 years my jewelry and prints and drawings have been shown in galleries and craft fairs under the name of Ellements.

While I was pursing my art career, I was also nurturing my interest in houses. I love to decorate and landscape them. I got my real estate license so that I could sell them. However, it didn't take long for me to discover that I wasn't cut out for selling them, but I was great at renovating them. Prepping houses for resale was a natural synthesis for my talents and interests.

MY BEGINNINGS: Over the years I've bought and sold five of my own homes. They all sold to the first viewer and on the first day! My friends and family, realizing that this was an incredible track record, began asking me to assist them in the staging of their homes. Their houses sold rapidly and the rest is, as they say, history. House Calls is the real estate division of Ellements.

MY EXPERIENCES: Inevitably I branched out and started working with real estate agents and individual homeowners. My training in design, color, balance, and order combined with an ability to visualize a better outcome, has helped me to achieve pleasing results for both buyers and sellers. I am very fortunate to be doing something that I love. Combining my artistic talents with my knowledge of real estate has provided me with a very satisfying career.

NEW EXPERIENCES: Working as an artist is a solitary business. Most of my studio time is spent alone creating and executing my jewelry and artwork. While I love doing that, what I hadn't counted one was how much I would enjoy working with people! I love interacting with homeowners, getting to know them and their homes. It's is a fun challenge to rework their homes in ways they never thought possible. Since most say that they "wish they had made these changes earlier", I am often asked to help them out in their new homes. My days are never routine. Each assignment is new territory!!
